'Stree 2' has finally broken the record of Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan' to become the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time in India. As per trade analyst Taran Adarsh, 'Stree 2' earned Rs 2.65 crore on Tuesday, the 34th day of its release.

The total nett domestic collection of 'Stree 2' now stands at Rs 586 crore in India. The film has taken just 34 days to breach Jawan's lifetime collection in the Hindi language.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Taran Adarsh wrote, "#Stree2 scripts HISTORY... Becomes the HIGHEST-GROSSING HINDI FILM EVER... Crosses lifetime biz of #Jawan [#Hindi version]... Next stop: Inaugurating the ₹ 600 cr Club. [Week 5] Fri 3.60 cr, Sat 5.55 cr, Sun 6.85 cr, Mon 3.17 cr, Tue 2.65 cr. Total: ₹ 586 cr. #India biz. #Boxoffice."

For the unversed, 'Jawan' had minted Rs 582.31 crore in the Hindi language in India. However, it is important to mention that the film was also released in Tamil and Telugu versions, and if you add all languages collection, then 'Jawan's tally stands at Rs 640.25 crore.

Coming back to 'Stree 2', the new Hindi film has earned more than Rs 800 crore worldwide. When it comes to 'Jawan', the film raked in more than Rs 1,100 crore worldwide.

Looking at the lack of competition at the ticket counters, 'Stree 2' is poised to become the first Hindi film to enter the Rs 600 crore club. The movie is on track to achieve the feat by the end of the ongoing week. September 20 will serve as National Cinema Day 2024, and as a result, tickets at cinemas have been priced at Rs 99.

National Cinema Day is likely to give a boost to the collection of 'Stree 2'. For the unversed, 'Stree 2' is the sixth Hindi film to enter the Rs 500 crore club after 'Jawan', 'Gadar 2', 'Pathaan', 'Animal' and 'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion'.

'Stree 2' is also the first non-action film to enter the Rs 500 crore club. Talking about 'Stree 2', the film also features cameos by Varun Dhawan, Tamannaah Bhatia and Akshay Kumar.
