Denis Villeneuve‘s 'Dune: Part Two', starring Timothee Chalamet and Zendaya has finally been unveiled to some lucky film journalists and in the latest entertainment news, the critics are showering some high praise on the new Hollywood movie. 'Dune 2', which follows 2021's 'Dune', is being called "masterful", "damn impressive". The critics are also saying that 'Dune 2' has some battle scenes that rival Peter Jackson’s 'The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers', reported Variety.

“Dune: Part Two is damn impressive. Villeneuve crafts some truly VISIONARY moments. Austin Butler gives a truly transformative performance (and not talking makeup either). Very moving ending. A wee bit long? Yes. Did I forget I saw it the next day? Yes. Still, gonna be massive," wrote The Playlist’s Gregory Ellwood.

Inverse editor Hoan-Tran Bui called 'Dune 2' a "triumph."

"Even more immense than the first, but much more intimate — Denis Villeneuve manages to streamline the more alienating second half of the book into a riveting, action-packed epic. TWO TOWERS-level mastery of battle sequences. Zendaya is the star," the post reads.

“Incredible filmmaking,” wrote Collider’s Steven Weintraub.

“Brilliant score. Entire cast was excellent. My only complaint was I wish it was longer. Not joking around. The movie is 2hr and 40 min(?) and I would have been happy to watch another hour.”

For the unversed, 'Dune: Part Two' will resume the story of Paul Atreides (Chalamet) as he joins forces with the Fremen to save the galaxy from the Harkonnen empire.

Harkonnen empire was responsible for the death of Paul's father.

'Dune: Part Two' cast includes Chalamet, Zendaya, ebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Dave Bautista, Stellan Skarsgård, Charlotte Rampling and Javier Bardem.

Newcomers to 'Dune' franchise are Florence Pugh, Christopher Walken and Léa Seydoux.

'Dune: Part One' had released in 2021 and it was a science fiction film based on the 1965 novel by Frank Herbert. The first part of the movie covered the first half of the book. The film followed 'Paul Atreides' and the noble House Atreides, and how they are thrust into a war for the deadly and inhospitable desert planet Arrakis.

The film is slated to release in India on February 29. In the US, 'Dune: Part Two' will be releasing in cinemas, a day later, on March 1.
