The second episode of 'Koffee With Karan 8', hosted by director and producer Karan Johar, will feature siblings Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol. The episode will be airing this Thursday, and while talking to KJo, Bobby Deol will be seen opening up about the lowest point of his career as he struggled to find work in the film industry.

Bobby Deol will also reveal that he ended up turning to alcohol for solace.

“I gave up, I started pitying myself. I just took on drinking a lot, I was sitting at home. I used to keep cursing and saying, why don’t people take me? I am good, why don’t they want to work with me? I think I became so negative about everything, that there was no positivity coming from me. I used to sit at home, my wife worked," Indian Express quoted Bobby Deol as saying.

“Suddenly I heard my son saying, you know mom, papa sits at home and you go to work everyday. Something snapped in me. I just said, no I can’t! It was a slow process, when I got out of it, it took me time to get into the right mind frame to become okay. It can’t happen overnight," he added.

Further speaking about resurrecting his career, Bobby Deol said, "My brother, my dad, my mom, my sisters, they were always there. You cannot always do anything holding someone’s hand. You have to walk on your two feet. Then things started changing. I became more focused, more serious and when you focus and you have that energy in you. I mean I have gone and met so many people, I said to myself, I will go and meet people, tell them I want to work with you all. I came to you also, you still haven’t worked with me.”

For the unversed, Bobby Deol had made his acting debut in the 90s and he acted in films like 'Gupt', 'Barsaat', 'Soldier', 'Bichhoo', and more.

The actor then went throw a string of flops such as 'Bardaasht', 'Tango Charlie', 'Alag', 'Jhoom Barabar Jhoom', and more.

Bobby Deol then tried to revive his career through films like 'Yamla Pagla Deewana 2', and 'Race 3'.

However, the critical acclaim came his way through web series 'Ashram' and Netflix film 'Class of 83'.

On the work front, Bobby Deol will next be seen as an antagonist in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 'Animal', which also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna.

The movie is scheduled for release in theatres on December 1. As per reports, Bobby Deol is playing the role of a cannibal in the film.
