Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone recently made an appearance on Karan Johar's chat show 'Koffee With Karan 8', and the duo were the guests on the opening episode of the new season. In the episode, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone spoke about how they fell in love. Ranveer Singh then narrated a story about his first meeting with Deepika Padukone at the house of Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Ranveer described Deepika Padukone looking like "saadgi ki moorat", and how a gush of wind from the sea made her look "angelic" as she opened the door of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's house.
However, netizens are now noticing the similarities between the way he described this meeting to what he had said about his first meeting with Anushka Sharma at YRF Studios many years back.
For the unversed, Ranveer Singh had earlier described how Anushka Sharma opened the giant door at one of the offices at YRF Studios and a gush of wind left her hair flowing.

Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma were rumoured to be dating each other when they appeared on the third season of 'Koffee With Karan' in 2011. The duo also starred in movies like 'Band Baaja Baaraat', 'Ladies vs Ricky Bahl' and 'Dil Dhadakne Do'.
Talking about Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, the duo had gotten married in 2018 at Lake Como, Italy.
Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone had started dating during the making of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela'.
On their recent appearance on Karan Johar's show, Ranveer Singh said that just after six months after meeting Deepika, he knew, she was "the one."
He also revealed that the couple was secretly engaged for three years before they tied the knot in 2018.
Ranveer Singh said that he proposed to Deepika Padukone in Maldives at a secluded beach. Deepika stated that when they started dating, they were not together exclusively, and were also seeing other people.
