Karan Johar’s ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’, which had opened to favourable reviews from critics, performed well at the box office and collected over Rs 150 crore in India. The 2023 Hindi movie starred Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Shabana Azmi, Dharmendra, and Jaya Bachchan. A large section of people went gaga over Ranveer Singh’s super energetic performance as Rocky Randhawa, while others hailed Alia Bhatt as Rani Chatterjee and their crackling chemistry on-screen. However, there was a particular scene in ‘RRKPK’ which became a talking point online.
In a scene from ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’, Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi, who feature as former lovers, share a kiss when they meet each other after years. Ever since the Hindi movie was released in July 2023, the kiss between the two veteran stars went viral on social media.
Karan Johar recently returned with an all-new season of his uber-popular talk show ‘Koffee With Karan’. Celebrity couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh appeared as the first guests in ‘KWK 8’, which began on October 26. Earlier today, Karan Johar shared the first promo of the second episode of ‘KWK 8’, set to feature celebrity sibling duo Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol.
The brother duo spoke about many interesting topics ranging from ‘Gadar 2’ to Sunny Deol’s fetish for teddy bears. They also reacted to their father Dharmendra’s much-talked-about kiss with Shabana Azmi in ‘RRKPK’.

Karan Johar can be later seen quizzing them, “Why your father is being so chaalu?”
Bobby says with laughter, “I don’t know.” He then adds, “Your film Rocky Aur Rani, I loved the film. Hum log mazaak karte rehte hai ki papa kiss wiss bhi kar rahe the lekin sab log bolte hai he is so cute.”
To this, Karan Johar asks, “What was your reaction when you heard about the kiss or saw the kiss?” Sunny Deol responds, “Dad can do whatever he likes and he gets away with it.”
Meanwhile, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol appeared in ‘Koffee With Karan’ back in the first season of KJo’s show in 2005. Reportedly, the theme of this year’s ‘Koffee With Karan’ is family members. Hence, most of the pairings on the show are being made keeping that in mind.
Talking about Sunny Deol, he tasted major success with ‘Gadar 2’ this year as it shattered several records at the box office. Bobby Deol is waiting for his next release ‘Animal’. Without a dialogue, Bobby Deol created quite a stir with his menacing look in the teaser.
