Sunny Deol has opened up on the entire incident, saying it was a complete non-issue.

Sunny Deol, who gave a monstrous hit in the form of 'Gadar 2' in 2023, recently made headlines after a video went viral, in which the actor was seen wandering on the streets of Mumbai in a seemingly drunken state. As soon as reactions started pouring in, Sunny Deol revealed that he was shooting for his upcoming film 'Safar'. In the latest entertainment news, Sunny Deol has opened up on the entire incident, saying it was a complete non-issue.

“It is a video recording of a shoot, not a real video, so everyone should just relax. If I want to drink would I do it on the road and in an auto rickshaw? The truth is, I don’t drink. And, that’s not a real video but a film shooting, ” shared Sunny Deol with Zoom.

Earlier, Sunny Deol had shared a behind-the-scenes video of himself on location, surrounded by the crew members of 'Safar' film.

“Afwaahon ka ‘Safar’ bas yahin tak," he wrote. 

In several previous interviews, Sunny Deol has stated that he doesn’t consume alcohol. He had even said that he could not comprehend why and how people can be so fond of drinking.

Meanwhile, Sunny Deol had a great 2023 as he tasted massive success after the release of ‘Gadar 2’, co-starring Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma.

‘Gadar 2’, which was released alongside Akshay Kumar’s ‘OMG 2’ in August 2023, made more than Rs 500 crore in India and became the second-highest-grossing Hindi film of all time.

Sunny Deol has movies like ‘Safar’, ‘Lahore 1947’ and ‘Baap’ in the pipeline. He is also said to be in talks to play Hanuman in Nitesh Tiwari's film, ‘Ramayana’.

As per reports, the Bollywood actor is also in talks for ‘Border 2’, set to be directed by Anurag Singh.
