Bollywood actors and brothers Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol recently made an appearance on 'The Great Indian Kapil Show', and the duo were seen having loads of fun with host Kapil Sharma and comedians Sunil Grover and Krushna Abhishek. While chatting with Kapil Sharma, Sunny Deol acknowledged that he is a strict father, while talking about his upbringing in a joint family. In a BTS clip shared by Kapil Sharma, the comedian was seen questioning the Deol brothers about their parenting styles.
"I think bhaiya is a stricter parent than I am," said Bobby Deol.
On the other hand, sharing his perspective, Sunny Deol said, “I don’t think it is like that. Papa was strict, we are also strict but Papa used to be so busy in shooting that I rarely saw him as a kid. Since we lived in a joint family with uncles and aunties, we used to interact with them more. Koi aisa nahi hai jisne merepe haath na saaf kara ho (laughs).”
Hearing this, Bobby Deol joked, "That’s why he can fight 100-200 people because he has taken so much beating as a kid.”
During the show, Sunny Deol also talked about his mother Prakash Kaur, and how she would beat him up if he got injured while playing.
"I used to get hurt and my mom would still beat me up with chappal and I would be bleeding," said Sunny Deol.
On the work front, Sunny Deol was last seen in 2023 blockbuster 'Gadar 2', alongside Ameesha Patel. The Hindi movie did a business of more than Rs 500 crore in India.
He will next be seen in Rajkumar Santoshi's 'Lahore 1947', alongside Preity Zinta. The movie is being backed by Aamir Khan Productions.
Speaking of Bobby Deol, he was last seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 'Animal', alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Triptii Dimri, Anil Kapoor, and Shakti Kapoor.
