Tara Singh Is Back! Sunny Deol's 'Gadar 2' Outperforming 'Pathaan' On Day 1 Advance Booking In Single Screens
'Gadar 2' starring Sunny Deol will be releasing on August 11, and looking at the advance booking, the movie is set to record a big box office number on Day 1.
Tara Singh is back! Sunny Deol is all set to return to the big screen with his next release 'Gadar 2', also starring Ameesha Patel. The new Hindi movie will be releasing in theatres on August 11 alongside Akshay Kumar's 'OMG 2'. In the latest entertainment news, the tickets of 'Gadar 2' are selling like hot cakes and it is set to record a massive box office number on Day 1.

Another trade analyst Sumit Kadel said that the advance booking for 'Gadar 2' at B and C tier single screens is even better than 'Pathaan', starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham.

Earlier, film exhibitor Akshaye Rathi had told The Indian Express that 'Gadar 2' will do a minimum business of Rs 20 crore on the day of its release.
'Gadar 2' has been directed by Anil Sharma and it stars Ameesha Patel, Utkarsh Sharma, Manish Wadhwa and Gaurav Chopra in the lead roles.
For the unversed, 'Gadar' had released on the same day as Aamir Khan's 'Lagaan', and the movie was set during the partition of India. The plot of the 2001 film revolved around Tara Singh, played by Sunny Deol, and how he fell in love with Sakina, a Pakistani girl, played by Ameesha Patel.
In the original 'Gadar', Sunny Deol had played a Sikh truck driver from Amritsar while Ameesha Patel portrayed the role of a Muslim girl hailing from a political family in Lahore, Pakistan.
