Sunny Deol is currently basking in the success of his new Hindi movie ‘Gadar 2’. The Anil Sharma directorial, also starring Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma, recently entered the Rs 500 crore club in India. ‘Gadar 2’, which released alongside Akshay Kumar’s ‘OMG 2’, became the fastest Hindi film to achieve this feat. Recently, the team of ‘Gadar 2’ held a success bash and it was attended by several A-listers of Bollywood. From Shah Rukh Khan to Kiara Advani and Varun Dhawan, it was a starry night. Several videos and photos from the ‘Gadar 2’ success bash are ruling social media.

Set in 1971, ‘Gadar 2’ follows Tara Singh's (Sunny Deol) journey to Pakistan to rescue his son, Charanjeet (Utkarsh Sharma).
The popular songs from the 2001 original, ‘Udd Jaa Kaale Kaava’ and ‘Main Nikla Gaddi Leke’ have been recreated for ‘Gadar 2’.
The film is a sequel to the 2001 blockbuster ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’, which was also directed by Anil Sharma. ‘Gadar’ was a massive hit in 2001, when it clashed against the critically acclaimed ‘Lagaan’, which starred Aamir Khan.
