Anushka Sharma has wrapped up shooting for 'Chakda Xpress'.

Actress Anushka Sharma on Monday announced that she has wrapped up the shoot for her upcoming movie 'Chakda Xpress', a film based on the life of legendary former India bowler Jhulan Goswami. The 'Zero' actress shared a series of pictures on her Instagram account in which she can be seen wearing the Indian cricket team's jersey. “It’s a wrap on #ChakdaXpress and thank you @JhulanGoswami for the final clap to bring an end to the shoot," she wrote on Instagram.

In the pictures shared by Anushka Sharma, she can be seen sporting cropped hair just like Jhulan. In the images, we also see Jhulan Goswami, who gave the "final clap" for the film.

 

Earlier, Anushka Sharma had shared glimpses from the Kolkata schedule of the film. 

"Eat-Pray-Love: My Kolkata photo dump. Belur math, Kalighat temple, Aliah phirni, Balwant Singh ki chai and samose, Mithai ke baked and regular rasgulle, Paramount ke sherbet, Girishch dey malaai roll, Puti ram ki kachori aloo," she wrote on Instagram.

Jhulan Goswami retired from international cricket earlier this year and she had played her last ODI at the iconic Lord's Cricket 
Ground.

She finished her career with 255 ODI wickets, 44 Test wickets and 56 T20I wickets.

Anushka's last full-length feature film was 'Zero' which had released in 2018 and the movie also starred Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif.

She had last made a cameo appearance in Anvita Dutt's Netflix film 'Qala'. 

Anushka has starred in many commercially-acclaimed movies such as 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi', 'PK', 'Band Baaja Baaraat', 'Sultan' and 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil'.
