"Take It Down!": Anushka Sharma's Angry Post After Brand Uses Her “Imagery” Without “Permission”
Anushka Sharma was left angry after a clothing brand featured her in one of their social media campaigns.
Anushka Sharma was left angry after athleisure brand Puma India used her image as a part of their social media campaign. "Hey #PropahLady, end the year in style with the PUMA End Of Season Sale! Shop latest styles only at PUMA.com, PUMA App and PUMA Stores," read the post of PUMA India. In the multiple images used by the brand, Anushka Sharma can be seen dressed in their clothing.
However, the actress did not take kindly to the brand using her images for their promotion, and taking to Instagram story, Anushka wrote: "Hey Puma India, I am sure you know that you have to take permission before you can use my imagery for publicity since I am not your brand ambassador. Please take it down." Anushka also concluded her Instagram story with two angry emojis.

After this Instagram story, PUMA India responded through an Instagram post, saying: “Hey @anushkasharma, we should’ve reached out sooner! Should we take things to the next level, then.”
It is important to note that Anushka's husband and cricketer Virat Kohli is the brand ambassador of PUMA. Virat Kohli has also liked PUMA's post so it can be a kind of marketing strategy, involving Anushka Sharma.
On the work front, Anushka Sharma will make her comeback to acting with Jhulan Goswami's biopic 'Chakda Xpress'.
Anushka Sharma was last seen in a cameo appearance in Anvita Dutt's Netflix film 'Qala' starring Tripti Dimri, Swastika Mukherjee and Babil Khan.
The actress was last seen in a full-length feature film in 2018's 'Zero' opposite Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif.
