'Dunki' has gone past the Rs 175 crore mark in India.

Shah Rukh Khan's 'Dunki' and Prabhas-starrer 'Salaar: Part One - Ceasefire' continue to hold well at the box office and both the movies which were released last week, are still collecting a reasonable amount of money at the box office. 'Dunki' directed by Rajkumar Hirani, which also stars Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Boman Irani, Anil Grover, and Vikram Kochhar, has finally gone past the Rs 175 crore mark in India.

On the other hand, 'Salaar: Part One - Ceasefire', directed by Prashanth Neel, which also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, and Shriya Reddy, has gone past the Rs 320 crore mark across all languages in India.

Talking about 'Dunki', which was released in theatres on December 21, minted Rs 9.25 crore in India on Saturday, which was the tenth day of its release. The total nett domestic collection of 'Dunki' now stands at Rs 176.47 crore. Globally, the film is nearing the Rs 350 crore mark.

'Dunki' witnessed a slight increase in collections on Saturday as compared to its second Friday.

On the other hand, 'Salaar: Part One - Ceasefire', minted Rs 12.50 crore across all languages on Saturday, taking the total collection in India to Rs 329.62 crore, as reported by Sacnilk.

In the Hindi version, 'Salaar' collected approximately Rs 7.25 crore on Saturday and the box office collection has finally gone past the Rs 100 crore mark in India. With this, Prabhas now has five films that have gone past the Rs 100 crore mark in the Hindi version.

Earlier, 'Dunki' director Rajkumar Hirani had given his take on the debate around box office collection these days.

“I feel it’s temporary and it is possible that people get influenced. A person can hear something negative and it is possible that he won’t go. It does have a little impact but in the longer run, that person will see it. If not here (theatre), then maybe on OTT or satellite, and then his love will stay with the film,” he told news agency ANI.

“I still feel that a barometer to judge a film should be… jo debate honi chahiye wo paiso se zyada film ki honi chahiye, film ke content se hone lagi hai. Thoda sa hum ye paiso se karne lage hai, ye tha nahi pehle, ye thoda sa badh gaya hai abhi," he added.
