Prabhas-Starrer ‘Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire’ Gets ‘A’ Certificate, Runtime Revealed
‘Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire’, directed by Prashanth Neel, starring Prabhas in the lead role, will release in cinemas on December 22.
Prashanth Neel’s next directorial venture ‘Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire’, starring Prabhas in the lead role, is one of the most anticipated Indian movies of 2023. The upcoming movie will be going up against Rajkumar Hirani’s directorial ‘Dunki’, starring Shah Rukh Khan, at the box office. While ‘Dunki’ will be releasing in theatres on December 21, ‘Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire’ will arrive in cinemas on December 22. ‘Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire’ will be releasing in five languages -- Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
Just a few days before the release of the film, it has been revealed that ‘Salaar’ has been granted an 'A' certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
It has also surfaced that ‘Salaar’ will have a runtime of 2 hours and 55 minutes. The announcement was made by production house Hombale Films.

As per The Indian Express, ‘Salaar’ has several intense fight sequences, blood baths and also terrifying violence.
Apart from Prabhas, ‘Salaar: Part 1: Ceasefire’ also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, and Jagapathi Babu.
On Sunday, Prithviraj Sukumaran had taken to social media to announce the completion of dubbing in all five languages on social media.
Sharing a photo of himself, the actor wrote, “#Salaar Final dubbing corrections done. I have had the privilege of lending my own voice for all my characters across various languages I’ve worked in over the years. I have even dubbed for some of my characters in multiple languages. But to be dubbing for the same character, in the same film in 5 different languages is a first for me. Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Hindi and of course Malayalam. And what a film to do it for! Deva and Varadha will meet you in theatres across the world on the 22nd of December 2023.”

For the unversed, ‘Salaar’ will be releasing in two parts and the first part is titled ‘Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire’. Backed by Hombale Films, ‘Salaar’ is reportedly made on a budget of Rs 400 crore and is produced by Vijay Kiragandur.
