'Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire', starring Prabhas, Prashanth Neel and Shruti Haasan has finally released in theatres.

Finally, the day is here! Prashanth Neel-directed 'Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire', starring Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Shruti Haasan has finally released in theatres. For the unversed, 'Salaar' released in theatres, a day after Rajkumar Hirani and Shah Rukh Khan's 'Dunki'. Going by the early estimates, 'Salaar' is all set to register a massive opening on Day 1, almost double the opening registered by 'Dunki'.

As per industry tracker Sacnilk, 'Salaar's advance sales across languages and regions amount to almost Rs 49 crore, with the Telugu version leading the charge with around Rs 38 crore.

The Hindi version followed with advance sales of Rs 5.6 crore while the Malayalam version has sold tickets worth Rs 2.2 crore.

The Tamil and Kannada versions registered advance ticket sales worth Rs 1.8 crore and Rs 56 lakh, respectively.

It is safe to say that 'Salaar' would mark the comeback of Prabhas after the actor's lacklustre performance at the box office in the recent past. For the unversed, Prabhas' last three releases -- 'Radhe Shyam', 'Saaho', and 'Adipurush' tanked at the box office.

The initial reactions to 'Salaar' have started coming in, and Prabhas has a massive blockbuster at his disposal.

Here are some of the reactions:

Talking about Shah Rukh Khan's 'Dunki', which also stars Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal, the film delivered an opening of Rs 30 crore. This amount is significantly lower than the opening day collection of SRK's previous two releases -- 'Pathaan' and 'Jawan'.

'Dunki' has also not received knockout reviews, and hence it needs to battle lukewarm reviews and underwhelming box office returns.
